What we collect

CaptionPicks has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. There is nothing to sign up for, so we do not ask for your name or email unless you choose to write to us.

What is collected automatically:

• Server logs – IP address, browser and device, pages requested, referring page, timestamp. Standard web-server records.
• Analytics – aggregated data about which pages are visited and how people arrive, used to decide what to write next.

Cookies

The site sets cookies for basic function and analytics. Third-party advertising and analytics providers may set their own, which we do not control. Your browser can block all of these, and the site will still work.

If you email us

We keep your message and address as long as needed to deal with it. You will not be added to any list, because there is no list.

Your rights

Depending where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, or to have it deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will action it. Given what is described above, in most cases the answer is server logs and nothing else.
